Change Hostname In Solaris 10

To change the host name in Solaris 10 just change these files

/etc/hosts
/etc/nodename
/etc/nostname.<interface>

/etc/inet/ipnodes    (There is some debate about this file)

Use dumpadm to update
/etc/dumpadm.conf

Reboot

NOTE The following hosts files are no longer used in Solaris 10.
/etc/net/ticlts/hosts
/etc/net/ticots/hosts
/etc/net/ticotsord/hosts
